As a church we only get to spend about 40 hours a year with a child, while the parents or guardians of that child get about 3,000 intentional hours. Because of this, we have decided that the most important thing we can do as a church is to partner with our families, from all walks, and help them be intentional about God at home! When we combine the light of the church with the love of the home, together we can make a difference!
Your First Visit
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way. Your first stop after you and your family reach the sidewalk is Bridge Kids check-in area. If you can't locate the check-in area, just look for someone in a blue "Here to Help" or green "Kids" shirt to help you! Once you get to the check-in area, we will take some time to get to know you! We'll ask about allergies and collect your contact information. We want to serve you and your child well, so make sure you include any other information that we may need to know. Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to contact you during the service, we will text and then call the number you provide on your child's name tag! This sticker is also what you'll use to pick-up your child after the service.
It's Just a Phase
Everything from our environments, to the language we use in our lessons, to our small group materials are created with your child's developmental phase in mind. We want to embrace the phase your child is in because it matters in the way we connect with them!
Leaders & Mentors
Ever heard the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child!"? In Bridge Kids we believe this! We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. We believe that small groups are a great way for your child to connect with their peers and leader on a smaller ratio, so that they can build personal relationships.
Safety & Cleanliness
Your child being in an environment that is safe & clean is very important to us! Every environment gets cleaned and sanitized on a weekly basis. And, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check. Our whole team - from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel - are trained to keep your kids safe. Our security team is diligent in patrolling our campus and making sure our classrooms are secure. Our check-in & out process ensures that no child leaves with the wrong adult.
Fun is a country
Kids love fun and that is why it is a priority to us! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games and activities, singing and acting. We hold events throughout the year for children & families to have fun and get together with other families in a safe environment! When children have fun at church, they can't wait to come back!
